Silence the Serotonin Surge: Relief and Control of CINV with Granisetron

Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) persist as among the most feared and distressing side effects for patients.1 CINV is classified by time of onset into acute (0–24 hours), delayed (beginning 24 hours after chemotherapy and lasting up to 6–7 days) and anticipatory phases.2 Despite advances in oncology and management of associated side effects, CINV continues to be an essential adverse event that negatively affects treatment adherence, may result in therapy discontinuation and can lead to reductions in overall survival.3
