First in the World: Finland to Begin Bird Flu Vaccinations As Early As Next Week

Finland is set to initiate preemptive bird flu vaccinations for certain at-risk individuals, marking a global first in this approach. The country has secured vaccines for 10,000 people, with plans to administer two doses each starting as early as next week. This effort is part of a joint EU procurement of up to 40 million doses from manufacturer, CSL Seqirus, for 15 member nations.
