The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) warns against the use of “Setia Herba”, a product falsely marketed online as a herbal remedy for joint pain and gout. Despite claims of being “100% authentic herbs” and “safe to eat,” laboratory testing revealed it contained dexamethasone, prednisolone (both potent corticosteroids), and diclofenac, a strong NSAID.
Consumers are urged to stop using “Setia Herba” and consult healthcare professionals immediately. Avoid sudden discontinuation due to the presence of steroids.
