Pharmacist-Administered Flu Jabs Now Available at Retail Pharmacies
Singapore has launched a new Ministry of Health (MOH) trial allowing trained pharmacists to administer influenza vaccinations at selected retail pharmacies. This initiative aims to expand access to flu vaccination and study how pharmacists can play a larger role in preventive healthcare.
Flu jabs under this trial are currently available at:
- Guardian Health & Beauty at NEX
- Unity Pharmacy at Parkway Parade
- Watsons Singapore at Paragon
Previously, flu vaccinations were primarily administered at general practitioner (GP) clinics and polyclinics, but the new sandbox initiative integrates pharmacists into Singapore’s broader preventive care strategy.
