
Singapore has seen a significant rise in dengue fever cases in 2024, surpassing the total for the entire previous year. According to recent data from the National Environment Agency (NEA), as of July 22, there have been 10,141 local dengue infections, exceeding the 2023 total of 9,949 cases. This surge follows NEA’s earlier warning of increased infections ahead of the traditional peak season from May to October.
